Parents and caregivers must stay on-site and are responsible for supervising their children at all times. No more than 2 adults per child, please. Please click here for information about our Thursday morning drop-off program with UrbanSitter.
Purple Monkey Playroom is a shoe-free facility. Socks are required and are available for purchase.
Strollers must be folded indoors or chained to the outdoor bike rack. Purple Monkey can provide locks.
Food & Drink
Purple Monkey sells non-perishable snacks including Honest Kids Juice Boxes, Annie's Bunnies, Jolly Oak Granola, and Happy Baby squeeze pouches. Outside food and drink is welcome. If you'd like to enjoy a meal at the playroom, we recommend our neighbor, The Art of Chicken, who will deliver free-of-charge when possible.
While Purple Monkey Playroom welcomes outside food and drink, food deliveries for large groups and/or serving cake during open play hours is stricly prohibited without the express, written permission of the management. Customers in violation of this policy will be asked to leave or will be assessed a $250 semi-private party fee.
Our front door is locked during the day and on a buzzer system. We reserve the right to refuse entry to anyone who arrives without a child.
Strollers must be folded immediately upon entry to the playroom to discourage climbing and to keep the entryway clear.
Roughousing is strictly prohibited.
Your and your child(ren)'s health is a top priority at Purple Monkey. We contract out for cleaning 7 nights a week to care for the interior of the space.
Toys are sanitized nightly with a steam cleaner and are washed/cleansed during down times during the day. We avoid spraying cleaners when children are present. Chewed or licked toys can be taken off the play floor by placing them in the bin on the counter.
Carpets are professionally steam cleaned a minimum of every quarter, and as needed.
Thank you for helping us to maintain a clean, safe, and fun indoor play environment!
Purple Monkey Playroom welcomes children of all abilities. If you have a child who you think may benefit from additional sensory support while in our playroom and in similar environments, we recommend Community Inclusion Consulting.
